A First Alert ACTION Day will stay in effect through Friday as extreme and record heat will continue to impact the Desert Southwest. Excessive Heat Warnings are also staying in place toward the end of the week.

A Weather Authority First Alert ACTION DAYS will go into effect for the entire Desert Southwest starting Thursday for the extreme heat risks. Highs will be hovering near 120 where daily temperature records could be broken.

The Desert Southwest is under a Weather Authority First Alert to prepare us for the intense heat that will take over later this week. Heat Warnings are in effect and issued for the next several days for the Desert Southwest.
