Finally feeling like Fall in the Desert Southwest

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY-TV) - Strong gusty winds took over last night, today, winds are much calmer but we will still be breezy with gustier winds further west.

Highest peak gusts of 20 MPH will still be possible.

A current low-pressure system has settled further south and will impact the Desert Southwest this week, cooling our temperatures slightly below and near average.

Daytime highs return back to the 80s, with even cooler temperatures by the evening.

The 70s will join by 7 P.M. with expected overnight lows in the low 60s and even upper 50s.

Dry conditions along with near-normal temperatures will prevail through the rest of the week.

By Sunday and early next week, we will have even cooler temperatures with daytime highs dipping down to the 70s.
