Much calmer day for the Desert Southwest

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY-TV) - After an active weather day from Tropical Storm Kay it continues to bring some lingering and scattered showers across the area.

A Flood Watch remains in place until midnight for Imperial Counties if heavier rainfall reoccurs.

From the rainfall across the Desert Southwest yesterday, some areas received some measurable rain.

Through the remainder of tonight and going into tomorrow, skies will gradually clear, but it will still stay very humid, as dew points will remain mainly in the mid and upper 60s.

By tomorrow afternoon highs will still stay below-normal, but by the middle of next week, we can expect drier conditions and slightly above normal temperatures.
