News 11 Weather Authority: Cool apex
April 12th, 2022
YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) - This morning's departure of a strong low pressure system has seen the strong winds fade and the influx of much cooler air settle in to the Desert Southwest.
Daytime highs only peaked in the range of 74 to 75 degrees, which is roughly 10 degrees below normal for this time of year.
The residual cool should remain for another day, where daytime high should elevate into the high 70s for Wednesday.
As we roll into the next weekend, expect mercury numbers to continue rising.
