News 11 Weather Authority: Holiday weekend heat-up!

YUMA, Ariz., (KYMA, KECY) - High pressure from the Midwest will continue to expand and increase our daytime highs.

The good news is that the heat will likely not be excessive, at least through Memorial Day.

Beyond that, the heat should back off and potentially give way to isolated showers and thunderstorms before the end of next week.
