Breezy and cool today before temps hit triple digits this week
YUMA COUNTY, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY)- Temperatures will be cooler today before eventually warming up to 100 degrees later this week.
According to the National Weather Service (NWS), a weak disturbance moving through the state today will allow for temperatures to be several degrees cooler than yesterday.
Breezy conditions will be possible this afternoon as this disturbance moves through.
Much warmer conditions with high temperatures in the 90's are expected for Wednesday into the weekend as a strong ridge of high pressure aloft builds in over the region.
Highs will approach 100 degrees over the lower deserts by this weekend.
