YUMA, Ariz., (KYMA, KECY) - A massive low pressure system has plummeted our mercury to as much as 15 to 20 degrees below normal levels for this time of year.

This brief onslaught of cold air is making it feel like January weather here at home.

We've also gotten a brief period of light showers to go with it and some wind coverage between 10-25 miles per hour in some areas.

Beyond nice weather for Tuesday, expect the strongest ridge of the year to this point to catapult our daytime highs to 105 degrees by the end of the week.
