Russian airstrike kills 21 more civilians overnight
(KYMA, KECY/ CNN) - Ukraine is feeling the aftermath of another deadly Russian airstrike this morning as the Regional Prosecutor's Office in the north-eastern city of Sumy says that the death toll from an overnight air strike has now risen to 21 civilians.
The prosecutor's office confirmed the death of 19 adults and 2 children as a result of an air strike in the city.
It accused Russia of "violating the rules of war carried out an air strike on the residential buildings area."
As a result of the bombing, one house was completely destroyed and 16 were partially destroyed.
As of 7:00 am, the bodies of 21 people, including 2 children, were found during an inspection of the site of the air strike.
