Lockerbie bombing suspect now in U.S. custody
(CNN) - A key suspect in the 1988 bombing of Pan Am flight 103 over Lockerbie, Scotland is in U.S. custody.
That terror attack killed 270 people; the majority of them Americans.
Furthermore, officials say the U.S. charged the Libyan man, Abu Agila Mohammad Mas’ud Kheir al-Marimi, two years ago for his involvement.
However, the investigation is ongoing and Scottish prosecutors are continuing to work with the U.K. government.
The Lockerbie bombing remains the deadliest terrorist attack to have taken place in the U.K.
