Disney Plus to add cheaper subscription option

(KYMA, KECY/CNN) - A new tier of Disney Plus subscriptions is planned to be rolled out in 2022.

This new option will support ads but will be a much cheaper tier for consumers.

No exact date or price have been announced yet, which Disney says will be a building block for the company's goal.
