GLENDALE, Ariz. (FOX) - An Arizona man visits his wife through a window every day as she recovers from a heart attack at a rehab center.

James Roberts walks from his Glendale home to see his wife, Maria, at the Bella Vita health and rehabilitation center every day.

Due to COVID-19 restrictions, he can't go inside the facility, but that isn't stopping him from seeing her and trying to make her laugh.

On Wednesday (4/22) the visit was extra special because the couple was celebrating nearly 21 years of marriage.

Roberts wore a special shirt in honor of the day.

His visits and devotion to his wife have made him the talk of the senior living facility.

Nurses say it's also helping Maria heal.
