President Biden to announce spending investment on electric vehicle chargers
(KYMA, KECY/ CNN) - The U.S. is planning on spending $900 million on electric vehicle chargers with President Biden expected to make the announcement in a speech at the Detroit Auto Show Wednesday.
The money is part of the new bipartisan infrastructure law and will help build chargers across 53,000 miles of the highway system.
The White House says the investment will create more jobs, help with climate change, and position the U.S. to lead the future of electric vehicles.
