Trump returns to Washington D.C. for first time since leaving office

(KYMA, KECY/ CNN) - Former President Donald Trump returns to Washington D.C. for the first time since leaving office.

The former President's trip comes 552 days since leaving the White House - and in the wake of revelations from the January 6th Committee about his actions around the Capitol riot.

Tuesday's visit also highlighted divisions within the GOP, as his running mate-turned potential 2024 primary rival former Vice President Mike Pence has arrived to Washington, as well.
