Suspension of prison visits extended to July 13

Prison Complex Yuma

PHOENIX (KYMA, KECY)-The visitations at all Arizona prison complexes are extended for 30 more days.

The visitation ban is set to expire July 13.

Video visitations were implemented on May 10 but will continue for those inmates who have visitation privileges. The Arizona Department of Corrections (ADCRR) says inmates are eligible for a one 15-minute video visit per week.

However, policies for phone calls and written letters also remain in effect.

During this period, CenturyLink will continue to provide inmates with two additional 15-minute phone calls per week, free of charge.

ADCRR continues to maintain CDC guidelines and will re-evaluate the suspension in July.
