Man injured in Machete attack in SLRC

SAN LUIS RIO COLORADO, Mexico (KYMA, KECY)- A man is fighting for his life after gang members hit him with a machete Sunday night, according to Mexican police.

Tribuna de San Luis says the 20-year-old victim has two serious wounds, one in the head and one in the shoulder.

Police say the victim was leaving the store, located on Calle 47 near Avenida Mazatlan when four men ran to him and attacked him claiming to be part of the "Los Wonder" gang.

No suspects have been arrested.

Mexican police continue their investigation.
