Dutch Bros Coffee drive-thru and other developments in the planning stages for Yuma

New plans for a coffee shop, a job training site, and a housing subdivision are some topics that will be discussed at Yuma City Hall on Monday, Oct. 28.

Commissioners will meet in the City Hall Council chambers at 4:30 p.m.

A Dutch Bros Coffee drive-thru is in the planning stages to be built at the southwest corner of South 4th Avenue and Catalina Drive.

The other request is for an office and job training facility in the Light Industrial– Airport Overlay District, located at 4457 E. Gila Ridge Road.

The property is used for training employees during the agricultural growing season, roughly mid-Oct. through April.

The third request is for a residential neighborhood located between Avenue 7E and 44th street.

While currently undeveloped, the intended development for the area includes a variety of housing subdivisions featuring centralized basins and an area park, a site for a future school, and an area for commercial development.
