Local school prepares for second mandatory recess

Tierra Del Sol Elementary is preparing to implement the new bill signed by Gov. Doug Ducey mandating two recess periods for younger students.

Tierra Del Sol Elementary is one of six schools in Somerton.

Administrators at the school said that the second recess will be in full swing beginning the following school year in August of 2019.
