Governor Ducey to visit site of cross-border drug tunnel
Arizona Governor Doug Ducey will visit the cross-border drug tunnel discovered in San Luis, Arizona last Monday.
Governor Ducey will address the media following his tour with federal and local law enforcement.
Homeland Security Investigations and Border Patrol held a press conference Wednesday morning about the tunnel that was used to transport narcotics into the U.S.
The tunnel was uncovered after a traffic stop, according to HSI.
HSI officials confirmed the tunnel was 22 feet deep and extended 590 feet long towards its end point at a residence in San Luis Rio Colorado, Sonora, Mexico.
