Black Friday deals in full swing
It’s Black Friday and while many think you have to get up super early in order to get the best deals, the best bargains are here to stay.
Locally a lot of stores opened up on Thanksgiving with a plethora of deals. Retail chain JCPenney had a major rush at 2 p.m. on Thanksgiving day, but managers at the store say their deals aren’t stopping anytime soon. Supervisor Nicole Anders shares some of the best deals being offered.
“We still have a lot of great deals available in the home department, we have our $7.99 kitchen appliances with mail and rebate. We have $9.99 shirts for the whole family. We have great stocking stuffers from Sephora for $15 dollars and under. We have a lot of great deals in the jewelry department as well and appliances are actually a really good deal this year. If you’re still looking for a big ticket item, that is going to be a deep discount,” said Anders.
She adds that the big-ticket items for JCPenney this year were the televisions and Play Station 4. Those of which was out the door in the first 5 minutes of the store being open. Doors close tonight at 10 p.m., but luckily the sales don’t stop here as the deals going on today will be reflected all through the month of December.
