They Are Veterans Who Are Now Deported

They fought for our country, protecting our freedom. Now a group of veterans is fighting for their right to live in the United States after being deported.

The topic of allowing deported veterans back into the United States was brought up for discussion during President Donald Trump’s campaign.

The veterans we spoke to say this gives them hope, but they’re still fighting to make it back to the country they served proudly overseas.

Just Wednesday members of Congress spoke at the Capital regarding deported veteran’s rights. Among these members supporting the cause is Representative Raul Grijalva and Representative Ruben Gallego of Arizona.

Hector and Ivan continue fighting every day, advocating the rights of all deported veterans. Hector from Tijuana, and Ivan from the support house he co-founded in Juarez. Both keeping the motto of never leaving a man behind.
