AT&T resolves software issue following outage

(NBC, KYMA/KECY) - AT&T says it has resolved the software issue Tuesday that caused an outage for thousands of wireless customers and some 911 services.

The company did not release details about the disruption, but a digital-service tracking website reported outages sprinkled across a the country beginning around 5:00pm Eastern Tuesday.

The issue was mostly resolved around 10:00pm Eastern.
