The White House experiences another COVID-19 case

WASHINGTON (KYMA, KECY/CNN) - Secretary of Agriculture Tom Vilsack has tested positive for COVID-19 and has joined the growing number of cases in Capitol Hill.

Vilsack posted a comment on Twitter stating that his symptoms were mild and that he had received his vaccine and booster shots.

Many have voiced concerns over the recent outbreaks in Washington because of the potential threat it poses to the President's health, but White House officials say Vilsack has not had close contact with Biden.

Vilsack had recently traveled to Mexico to discuss trade policies.

There are at least 67 people who attended the Elite Gridiron Dinner in Washington that have been exposed to the virus.
