Alabama Police investigate train crash that killed conductor

BESSEMER, Alab. (NBC) - A train conductor died in Bessemer early Tuesday.

Investigators say a pole or rod crashed through the front of the train, striking the man and killing him.

The train then came to rest after the crash.

So far, the cause of crash and the conductor's death are under investigation.
