Watermelons spilled on Massachusetts highway

FALL RIVER, Mass. (NBC) - A truck carrying watermelons crashed on a Massachusetts highway Tuesday night.

Hundreds of watermelons spilled onto Route 79 when the truck flipped over on the northbound side of the highway.

Once dispatched, crews arrived to the scene to cleanup the debris and watermelons in the roadway.

Authorities are not sure how the truck rolled over.

Medical personnel transported the driver of the truck to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
