Cancer found in breast implants

(KYMA, KECY/ CNN) - Certain types of cancer have been reported in people with breast implants.

That's according to the FDA

The FDA said it became aware the various scar tissue that forms around implants while conducting an ongoing review of breast implant safety.

There were very few cancer cases identified.

But officials say  patients should be aware of the risk...

Adding any cancers found around the breast implant should be reported to the f-d-a.

The agency says if you have implants, you should look out for some of the signs and symptoms--

Including swelling, pain, or changes in the skin.
