U.S. oil prices fall to five month low
(KYMA, KECY/CNN) - Economic worries sent oil prices tumbling on Monday.
U.S. oil dropped nearly five-percent to just below 94-dollars a barrel.
That's its lowest cost since February 25.
Analysts blamed the losses on soft global economic data in China and Europe that signal weakening demand for energy.
The good news is the prices at the pump continue to drop.
According to Triple AAA, the national average for regular gasoline slipped to 4.21 a gallon on Monday.
It marks the 48th day in a row where gas prices declined.
And experts predict they will continue to drop to four dollars a gallon by labor day.
