APS CEO: No spending to influence elections
PHOENIX, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) - The new chief executive of Arizona's largest utility says the company will not spend money to influence elections for the company's regulators.
Arizona Public Service (APS) CEO Jeff Guldner told the state Corporation Commission Tuesday that APS will not, directly or indirectly, support any candidates for the commission.
In 2014, APS secretly spent more than $3-million to support is favored candidates. It spent more than $4-million two-years later.
