Fire endangering 4th ave bridge, contained
On Friday at about 7 P.M., The Imperial County Fire Department began fighting a fire endangering the 4th Ave bridge on the California side of the river in Winterhaven CA.
Imperial County Fire says as of Saturday at about 3:30 A.M. the scene was cleared.
Yuma Fire, Rural Metro Fire and others worked to put out the blaze.
According to Imperial County Fire Department, 12.5 acres were affected and inside that area, only 3-5 acres worth of brush burned.
They say that there were no injuries or damage to infrastructure, only vegetation damage.
