Threat made at local high school being investigated
A threat written on a bathroom wall saying there would be a shooting at a local high school Friday is now being investigated by authorities.
Yuma police have confirmed they are investigating the threat made at Kofa High School.
The school will still be in session tomorrow and there is no imminent threat, according to Yuma Union High School District.
There will be a higher level of alertness on the campus with more security, administrators, and police, according to Eric Patten with Yuma Union High School District.
