Gunshots fired after possible road rage incident

Multiple shots were fired after a possible road rage incident on Saturday morning.

According to the Yuma County Sheriff’s Office, they received the report at approximately 10:54 a.m. where a dark-colored Jeep Cherokee and a white F150 truck were in the area of the 10800 block of East North Frontage Road in Yuma.

In their initial investigation, deputies found the suspect in the white truck had fired multiple gunshots into the Jeep Cherokee leaving a man and a woman with gunshot wounds. Both were later transported to the Yuma Regional Medical Center and then flown to a Phoenix hospital for further medical attention.

The suspect has been identified as 29-year-old Randy Munoz of Yuma, who was taken into custody and is facing 2 counts of attempted homicide and 4 counts of aggravated assault.
