Boost Mobile store robbed at gunpoint

Police are looking for two men suspected of robbing a cell phone store at gunpoint.

Yuma Police Department (YPD) officials say they were called out to the Boost Mobile store at 1773 West 24 th at around 6 p.m., Monday.

The men allegedly walked into the business and took cash at gunpoint. Officers say the men then fled the scene on foot heading south on 18th Avenue.

The first suspect is described as a Hispanic male, 5 feet 7 inches tall, weighing about 180 pounds. He was last seen wearing a dark blue pull-over hoodie, denim jeans, black and white shoes, black sunglasses and a black-printed bandana covering his face.

The second suspect is described as a Hispanic man, 5 feet 11 inches tall, weighing about 200 pounds. He was last seen wearing a black long-sleeve shirt, faded black denim jeans, black and white shoes, black sunglasses, a black hat with the letter “E” on it and a blue-printed bandana covering his face.

Police officers say anyone with information on this case is encouraged to call YPD at (928) 373-4700 or 78-Crime at (928) 782-7463 to remain anonymous.
