GearHeads 9

The GearHeads Car Show started off as a show and shine outside a Yuma jewelry store, since then the show has grown. Grown so much that the only venue large enough to hold it is the Yuma County Fairgrounds.

Unlike shows that cater to a distinct era or class, GearHeads puts out the welcome mat to every enthusiast looking to display their passion and whether it’s a classic, restoration, hot rod, rat rod, truck or lowrider this show promises to have something for everyone.

This year Gearheads hits it’s ninth year and organizers aren’t losing any steam introducing a new attraction to the show the “Southern Arizona Showdown” a car hopping competition with a purse worth $3,000.

The Event is happening Saturday January 14th from 9am until 5pm at the Yuma County Fairgrounds. Admission to the event is just $5 and proceeds from the show will go to help the Living Free Recovery Ranch which helps men undergoing recovery from substance abuse with a program aimed at giving them a second chance at life.
