Rising gas prices cause protests in San Luis Rio Colorado

The San Luis Police Department was on high alert Thursday afternoon following possible protests near the port of entry in San Luis Rio Colorado.

SLPD officials said they were maintaining a presence near the port of entry and offering support to port authorities on both sides of the border.
