Cooler temperatures for our 4th of July

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY-TV) - Happy 4th of July! Today's weather conditions continue to remain dry and clear with plenty of sunshine. Temperatures will be cooler than what we felt over the weekend as temperatures trend down and below-normal our average for today's date is 106-degrees.

Breezy conditions will pick later this afternoon and evening hours and carry through the night with expected wind gusts 20 to 25 MPH in Imperial Valley and lighter gusts in Yuma county areas.

After the sun goes down temperatures will cool down into the mid and lower 70s for tonight's lows, comfortable conditions as holiday celebrations continue.
