News 11 Weather Authority: 90s rise continues

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) - The expanding high pressure ridge has elevated our daytime highs into the mid to high end 90s range on this Wednesday.

Further strengthening of the ridge will likely elevate our daytime highs to the point of topping 100 degrees for the 1st time this calendar year.

We should reach that temperature level by Friday before another trough brings significant cooling by next week.
