Happy April 1st: Starting a new month with calm and warm

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY-TV) - Starting a new month with plenty of sunshine and calm conditions. Our temperatures are staying near-normal just slightly above average.

Winds staying calm and light with winds favoring South Easterly with wind speeds of 5 to 10 MPH. Later in the evening we will experience slightly stronger gusts but stay below 15 MPH. Light winds will continue through the weekend.

The weekend will continue to be pretty enjoyable as our temperatures will stay in the mid to upper 80s. We will feel even warmer temperatures at the start of the week and near triple digits towards the end of next week. Next week is when temperatures will be 10 to 15 degrees above normal.
