Slightly above normal before even warmer days ahead

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY-TV) - We will see a few lingering clouds today with temperatures staying warm. Our expected high for today will be in the mid-80s being slightly above normal.

Winds will stay calm and light with wind speeds of 5 to 10 MPH. Later in the evening, we can expect stronger gusts, especially in the Imperial Valley.

We will still start to feel warmer temperatures as we will have another warming trend through the weekend and into next week. We can expect to see temperatures in the 90s and closer to triple digits towards the end of next week.
