News 11 Weather Authority: 80s ending

March 23rd, 2022

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) - The latest significant disturbance still is leaving it's mark on our area, with somewhat mild conditions playing out on this Wednesday.

Our daytime highs only reached the mid 80s and we had minimal wind speeds to go with it.

However, developing high pressure from the East Pacific will usher in some much warmer changes ahead.

In the coming days, we'll go from the low to the high 90s; which will equate to near record highs for latter March.

The next warmth relief will likely arrive early next week, with potential stiff winds and even slight chances for some light showers.
