Staying chilly for now warmer temperatures for the weekend

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY-TV) - Chilly temperatures for today as we reach the upper 60s. We will see some lingering clouds by the afternoon with partly cloudy skies, but nothing to ruin your outdoor plans for today. Conditions will continue to be calm and winds will be light.

By tonight skies will be clear with cold temperatures as we will experience temperatures in the upper 30s and low 40s. Make sure to grab a sweater if you have any nighttime plans.

By tomorrow we'll be dealing with breezy conditions and lots of sunshine. A ridge of pressure will start to build over the region bringing the Desert Southwest back to normal temperatures as we will warm up into the 70s. By Sunday we will see clouds return but our conditions will stay nice and dry. Temperatures are on the rise and by next week we can expect to reach the 80s and even possibly the low 90s.
