Starting the day breezy and an expected warm week ahead

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY-TV) - Starting off our morning breezy. Winds speeds will be 10 to 15 MPH with gusts 20 to 25 MPH. We can also experience a temporary stronger gust by mid-afternoon.

The morning will be chilly however will start to warm up rather quickly. It will be a beautiful day as we will see clear skies and lots of sunshine.

Winds will start to calm down after lunchtime, but we will still remain breezy with even calmer conditions expected by tonight.

A ridge of high pressure will keep us warm bringing the Desert Southwest warmer temperatures by tomorrow. A warming trend will stay in place all this week, as we will experience warmer temperatures each day where we will eventually reach 80-degrees.
