News 11 Weather Authority: Near record warmth

YUMA, Ariz. ( KYMA, KECY-TV ) - The continuation of our latest warm weather pattern has brought our mercury to near record levels.

El Centro was a degree off of tying a record high temperature for this date of the year, peaking at 85 degrees.

The previous record was 86 degrees set back in 1950.

The near record warmth should continue on Tuesday.
