Sweltering heat makes its way to the desert southwest over the weekend

YUMA, Ariz. ( KYMA, KECY-TV ) - A weak weather disturbance will bring an increase in cloud cover today with some afternoon gusts. A gradual warming trend for the latter half of the week will see temperatures climb back to above normal by the weekend. Conditions will remain dry with no chance for rain.
