YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY-TV) - It’s time to meet our pet of the week and this week it’s a doubleheader where two dogs get the spotlight. If you are a dog lover, two dog siblings are looking for a home.
Meet Sparky and Blackie! Sparky and his sister Blackie are German Shepherds that are about 4 years old.
The Humane Society of Yuma picked Sparky and Blackie as the pet of the week because they are two siblings who have been in the shelter since February and are in need of a forever home.
Sparky and Blackie are a bonded pair that could be separated but they would do best if they could be adopted together.
What makes Sparky and Blackie special is they are both very loving and sweet.
They would make great ranch or shop dogs and with some love and training could do well indoors.
Sparky and Blackie don’t seem to care much for toys or balls but loves people and getting affection.

HSOY is open Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sundays from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m.
