Who wants to be a millionaire?

Alexander Ford is giving you the opportunity to win a nice little nest egg

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) - No doubt about it an extra million dollars sounds pretty good. That's exactly what's at stake at the annual Alexander Ford Million Dollar Shootout.

It's pretty simple, to qualify, all you have to do is pay $10 for 12-tries. Regardless of whether you consider yourself an avid golfer or not.

The player who gets closest to the pin wins a spot in the competition. Qualifiers are going on, on Friday, December 31, 2021, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

At 3 p.m. that afternoon the stage is set for players to try their hand at a million dollars. A hole-in-one takes the prize.

Just to clarify, you won't be showered in a million dollars cash if you win. But, you will receive an annuity which translates into $25,000 over the next 40-years.

Still an extra $25,000 a year for sinking a ball isn't bad and you help a good cause while doing it.

As an added bonus betting will be allowed to see which player takes home the gold and food and entertainment will also be available.

Amberly's Place is a nonprofit that services the greater Yuma County area. They're a victim advocacy group aimed at starting the healing process as soon as possible.
