Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce to wed at Madison Square Garden, sources say

(CNN, KYMA) - Sources say music superstar Taylor Swift and Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce will indeed hold their wedding celebration at Madison Square Garden (MSG) in New York City this week.

Rumors about the wedding venue have circulated for weeks as it is one of the most highly anticipated events of the summer.

Sources say two events are planned at the iconic arena. The first event is expected to be a rehearsal Thursday evening for about 100 guests, and then on Friday, a larger wedding celebration will take place.

About 1,000 guests are expected to attend.

Swift and Kelce began dating in 2023 and the couple got engaged last August.

MSG has hosted weddings of celebrities before. The arena also is home to the New York Knicks, who won the NBA championship last month.
