Backyard catches on fire

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) - A fire in a Yuma backyard is quickly put out by local first responders. 

Yuma Fire Department and Rural Metro received the emergency call around 5 p.m.

The fire crews found the fire in the backyard of a house located at the corner of 13th Place and Hettema Street.

"As they arrived, they found something in the backyard burning the cause is still under investigation thankfully Yuma Fire and Rural Metro were able to come together and got the fire extinguished," said David Padilla, Yuma Fire Department Public Information Officer.

No injuries were reported and the cause of the fire remains under investigation
