Quiet and cold in the Desert Southwest

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY-TV) - Quiet, but cold conditions will be the main focus for the next couple of days across the Desert Southwest especially during our early morning hours.

And comparing our morning and afternoon temperatures we we're cooler than normal for today and that will continue for the next several days.

Another Freeze Warning for portions of Yuma County will go into effect at midnight tonight until 9 a.m. (MST) TOMORROW for overnight lows dropping into the low 30s.

Area frost before 7 a.m. in Imperial Valley will also be possible.

As we continue to experience these colder temperatures make sure to take care of the four P's: people, pets, plants, and pipes to help prevent anyone or anything from freezing.

By tomorrow we will be increasing clouds before a clearing and drying trend takes over for the weekend.

Below-normal temperatures will continue through the weekend.

But, we'll start next week with a slight warm-up returning by the end of next week.
