Warmer but staying near normal for the weekend

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY-TV) - As we wrap up the work week temperatures remain below-normal before slightly warmer temperatures arrive for our weekend.

Stronger winds will rejoin early Saturday morning, especially for portions of Yuma County areas where wind gusts could peak near 20 mph.

Near-normal temperatures will stay with us through the weekend and the beginning of next week.

Toward the end of next week is when we will see a major drop in temperatures, more wind, and greater chances for rain showers across the Desert Southwest.
