Dry and warm weather for the rest of the week

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY-TV) - Weather conditions staying nice and dry across the Desert Southwest, but a slight warm-up is taking over for the next upcoming days.

A weak ridge of high pressure will settle over our area resulting in temperatures being about 5 degrees above normal.

Tomorrow is expected to be the warmest day of the week as highs will reach into the upper 90s.

Even though we won't be dealing with excessive heat, it will still be warmer for this time of year.

Warm and dry weather will prevail until Friday before cooler and a wetter weather pattern returns to our area.

Greatest storm chances are expected Saturday and Sunday with temperatures finally dropping to the mid and upper 80s.
