Border Patrol rescue migrants amid high temperatures

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) - Yuma Sector Border Patrol agents rescue a group of nine migrants after realizing they wouldn't survive in the desert in this heat.

U.S. Border Patrol said the migrants were found Monday after they illegally crossed last Sunday. With Monday's temperature reaching 110 degrees, the group realized they needed help. Fortunately, they were able to get cellular service and called 911 for help.

Agents quickly found their location and located the group. They provided IV to multiple people in the group, and after receiving treatment, they were found in good health.
